I so appreciate the piece Tom Garrett wrote in Friday's Payson Roundup about the importance of what we didn't get around to saying.
I shared this story with four of my friends who felt as challenged by it as I am. We can make somebody's day brighter by telling him or her "thank you."
Our days will be brighter if we tell them before it's too late.
I'm reminded of the English teacher who received a thank-you note for good teaching years after the fact. He wrote back, "Thank you for your letter. You might be interested to know that after 30 years of teaching, the best I knew how to give, yours is only the second such letter I have ever received."
Thanks, Tom Garrett.
