Langhams Celebrate 40 Years Together


Stan and Jeanie Langham celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 25. They were married June 25, 1966 in Globe, where both were raised.

The ceremony was held at Holy Angeles Catholic Church, which is on the National Historic Register.

They spent their wedding night at Mountain Shadows Resort and the night's lodging cost $16.48. The bride's dress was $129 and the groom's tuxedo rental was $12.95. Their wedding dinner was at Green Gables in Phoenix.

Stan Langham is a graduate of the University of Arizona and worked as a National Park Ranger at Chaco Canyon, Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon, where he was on the Park Service diving team before going into construction in New Mexico.

Jeanie worked as a designer, with her own business, and also with Herder Construction and Del E. Webb in Tucson. She also had her own charm school for six years, teaching teen girls etiquette. They have a son, Christopher, and a grandson, Emerson.

The couple owns Langham Construction Company. They have lived in Payson for 10 years.
