Miriam "Mim" Elizabeth Jensen, 78, of Mesa, died June 23, 2006 in Payson. She was born June 24, 1927 in Kettle Falls, Wash.
She moved to Vermilion, Alberta in 1932. She met her husband, George Clarke Jensen, and they were married Dec. 18, 1946.
They lived in Vermilion, Calgary, and Trochu, Alberta prior to moving to Toltec in 1972.
They moved to Phoenix and spent 11 years in Payson prior to semi-retiring in Mesa.
She had three sons and two daughters.
She is survived by her husband, George Jensen of Mesa; children: Reg (Wendy) Jensen of Abbotsford, B.C., Canada, Tim Jensen of Houston, B.C., Canada, Lorna (Frank) Hansen of Payson, David (Marianne) Jensen of Austin, Texas, and Beatrice Jensen of Wilcox; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Winnifred Chapman of Abbotsford, B. C., Canada; brothers: Mervin Wilson of Calgary, Alberta, David Wilson of White Rock, B.C., Walter Wilson of Calgary, Alberta, and Edwin Brown of Crossfield, Alberta.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Susie (nee Pinnock) Wilson; and sisters: Bertha Cirankewich and Evelyn Geake.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, at First Southern Baptist Church, 302 S. Ash in Payson. Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park in Payson.
