Joe is a good-looking 4-month-old brindle-colored neutered male. Like most youngsters, he loves to run and play. He has a great time with the other puppies and some of the older dogs when volunteers take him to the exercise yard. He is learning good manners around other dogs and humans, so it's important that his new family keep him socialized. Joe will make a great companion for anyone who appreciates a good canine buddy.

Sargent is a handsome 3-year-old neutered red and white pit bull terrier mix. Sargent was brought into the shelter as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is a very high-energy guy who loves to play and run. He would love to be a lap dog if you would let him. His new owner will need to work at keeping him socialized, and burning off his energy with plenty of exercise. Because of his high energy and strength, Sargent would benefit from some basic obedience classes. Please come and meet Sargent; he is looking forward to a wonderful new life.
