Joseph P. Sinatra, died in Payson on March 26, 2006. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif. on March 2, 1929, where he lived until he and his wife moved to Mena, Ark. in 1994. In April 2004, the couple moved to Payson to be closer to their children.
He worked in the shipping and receiving department of Soule Steel in Los Angeles, Calif. until his retirement.
A very social person, he enjoyed talking to people and his greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and other family members. His favorite pastime was watching all major sports, He was very knowledgeable about the players, especially the California teams.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Sinatra of Payson; his daughter, Christine Sinatra, of Mission Viejo, Calif.; his son Kenneth Sinatra and daughter-in-law Gena of Yorba Linda, Calif. and three grandchildren Katie, Kenneth, and Lauren Sinatra.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 17 at the Mountain Bible Church, 302 East Rancho Rd. in Payson.
