A big thank-you to the local churches and Christian ministries that participated in the Easter in the Park Celebration. There was a huge turnout at Rumsey Park Saturday, April 15 for the free Buck Storm concert and various music ministries that shared their talent and heart for God. We saw hundreds of kids have a blast with the various games and rides and 1400 hot dogs, 200 burritos, 300 tamales with tons of desserts, soft drinks and coffee were given away. Steve at Pepsi always blesses us with the use of their soft drink trailer, and we also had a huge used clothes giveaway that blessed many.
I also want to give a big thanks to Bill Schwind at Payson Parks and Recreation Department. Parks and Rec did a wonderful job of making sure we had what we needed.
Again, thanks to the Payson Roundup newspaper, for the great coverage in Rim Country Review and the community info page, letting our wonderful community know of these events. You guys really bless us.
Looking forward to seeing all of you June 24 at Rumsey Park as the Ministerial Fellowship will sponsor another free concert in the park.
Pastor Joe Hittle, President of Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship
