Jewel E. Ward died on April 21, 2006. Family members will attend a celebration of her life in Washington state.
Ward, a resident of Star Valley since 1994, previously lived in both Washington state and Southern California, where she was born in the San Dimas hospital on Oct. 10, 1924.
She owned and operated her own bookkeeping service, Custom Computations, for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading and was a regular visitor to the Payson Library. She also enjoyed taking daily walks with her dog "Taz" through the Star Vale Mobile Home Park where she was a resident for the past 13 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Bartrug of Silverdale, Wash.; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Cindy Ward of Shingletown, Calif.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
