Barrel Racing, Bull Riding Event To Be Held June 3

The second annual Hooves and Horns Barrel Racing and Bull Riding event will be held at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the Payson Event Center.

"I would like to invite the community to come out and see just how long the Tonto Apache Chief of Police, Quincy Guseyun, can stay on the back of a bucking bull," Preston Dalgai, the host of the event said.

Guseyun will go head to head in a bull riding exhibition against Wes Wilcox, owner of Wilson Design and Build.

Dalgai, who used to ride bucking bulls himself, thought it would be fun to have a rodeo with professional bull riding. There will also be women running barrels with their horses.

The event is free to those 65 and older. For 65 and under, general admission is $6.
