Public libraries in Payson, Pine and Tonto Basin all have great books for young and old alike.

"Magazines donated after they expire from the library's collection are 25 cents each."

The bookstore is located inside the library and is open the same hours as the library.

The Friends of the Payson Public Library hold their general meeting the second Monday of each month (except July) at 10:30 a.m. The meeting includes a speaker and is open to the public.

Many good junior book titles will be available at the Library Friends book sale at Isabelle Hunt Memorial Library July 1, 2 and 3.

The majority are donated books, but some are library books that are not checked out often, so they are removed to create shelf space for new titles.

"It's really sad, because they might be really good books, but the issue for us is space," said Becky Ware, library director.
