Library Needs More Handicap Parking Spaces

Editor:

I was very glad to see Virginia Fowler's letter about handicap access at the library. I have MS and use a walker, and it is indeed a long, long way from handicapped parking to the building.

I love the library, but only go on my "good" days and cannot go in even then if there are no reasonably close parking spaces. We have our MS support group meetings at the library, and have to rely on able-bodied members of the group to help us get to the meeting room.

I would love to see more, and closer, handicapped spaces.
