Ed and Sue McMillian will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2006 in the northwest mountains of Montana at Glacier Haven Inn and Healthy Haven Cafe. Present at the celebration will be their five children and grandchildren: Mike McMillian and Gail Donald from Evansville, Ind.; grandson, Larry Donald from Gainsville, Fla.; Randy McMillian from Essex, Mont., with his wife, Julie and grandchildren Andrew and Havon; Valerie Mority from Colorado Springs, Colo. and her husband, Kyle and their grandchildren, Cassie, Emily and Elliot; Jill Copeland from Santa Maria, Calif. with her husband, John, and their grandchildren, Rachael and Hannah. Also in attendance will be Sue's sister, Judy Smith from Payson, and her husband, Jack, and friends from California and Iowa.
The McMillians were married on May 25, 1956 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. Ed is retired from a career in industrial engineering, and Sue is a teacher at Payson Community Christian School, and will retire this year from a career of 30 years in the teaching field.
Ed and Sue will miss their many friends in Payson when they move June 1 to Essex, Mont. to be near their son, Randy and his family.
