A big thank you to all who helped with the 7th Annual Western Heritage Festival on Oct. 14, 2006. Special recognition goes to Boy Scout Troop 354 and their new Scoutmaster, Dan Utz, as well as other scout leaders. They worked on setup and again on takedown. Thanks to Holly Aungst and her team at Park and Rec for their help. Thanks also to all the volunteers from the Northern Gila County Historical Society and the Volunteer Police.
Also a special thanks to Miracle Music for arranging the sound, as well as all the musicians. Kudos to the artists and exhibitors at Art in the Park. The PHS Choir group braved the elements, selling beverages and other snacks. The Girl Scouts also withstood the weather throughout the day and contributed their talents. Thanks to the Northern Gila County Daughters of the Pioneers and the pioneer families involved in the opening ceremony.
Last, but not least, thanks to the public who supported the event despite the weather.
