Merry Mall

Payson United Methodist church presents its 5th Annual Merry Mall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at 414 N. Easy St.

There will be plenty of homemade crafts and baked goods with all the proceeds going to mission projects.

Come and do all your gift shopping, then relax with a bowl of chili and/or a warm slice of pie for a nominal charge. Coffee and tea will be available, too.

Aglow International

The women of Payson's Aglow International will present Elizabeth Corke on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Tiny's Restaurant on Highway 260.

She will share God's word in her singing and speaking. Coming from the country of Wales, Corke has become a favorite of everyone.

Fellowship will start at 9 a.m. and breakfast (from the menu) will be served at 9:30 a.m.

Christian Prayer Network sets special program

The Christian Prayer Network will have a community program at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Mountain Bible Church, 302 E. Rancho Road, Payson.

The theme is "Seeking God's Heart" with reverence, repentance and rejoicing.

The ongoing goal of the Christian Prayer Network is growing and increasing personal prayer of revival and enabling a deeper growth in prayer life which leads to a deeper relationship with Christ. To accomplish this, participants work with prayer coordinators who provide encouragement, training, resources, networking as well as developing prayer events and activities.

Thanksgiving Eve service

The congregation of the Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church will celebrate Thanksgiving with a special service Wednesday.

The special Thanksgiving Eve worship service is at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane.

The theme will be "In the Land of our Suffering" and Holy Communion will be served.
