Marge Hanscom of Strawberry died Nov. 14, 2006. She was born Feb. 20, 1926 in Effingham, Kan. to Robert and Harriet Scott.
She moved to Strawberry 10 years ago with her husband, Norm Hanscom.
Initially, she worked at the Strawberry Lodge and then took a job as the legal advertising clerk and typesetter at the Payson Roundup.
Before moving to Arizona, she worked as a secretary for the grand jury of Los Angeles, Calif., she worked for the vice president of Pepsi-Cola Bottling in Orange County, Calif., and started a square dance supply and dance hall in Santa Ana, Calif.
She enjoyed painting, square dancing and she loved to read.
She is survived by her son, Steve Cashdollar; and two granddaughters, Heather Cashdollar and Ashley Cashdollar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norm Hanscom.
There will be no memorial service.
