Rumsfeld Resignation Meaningless

If the United States were to pull out of Iraq immediately, the condition in Iraq and the Middle East would be no worse, maybe a little bit better than when Bush started his war. If Bush cared about the U.S. and our troops, he would resign.

The Rumsfeld resignation is meaningless since he was only the middleman in a Bush-run "war."

Bush's resignation would pave the way for a sensible withdrawal from Iraq and for mending fences with the other nations of the world in which the U.S. must survive. With Bush still in power, anything we do as a nation will be viewed through tainted lenses.

It is time that Bush did something good for our troops and our nation -- resign.
