Loren Duane Rinear, 82, died Nov. 18, 2006 in Payson. He was born Feb. 1, 1924 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Burton Charles Rinear and Mary Josephine Eldridge.
Mr. Rinear lived most of his life in the West, residing in California, Washington, Oregon and Arizona.
Mr. Rinear served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was stationed in Germany and France.
Known as Duane, Mr. Rinear was loved by his family and friends for his kind and loving ways and his quick wit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Berman Rinear, Ronley Rinear and Glen Rinear; sister, Betty Rinear Stroub; and one cousin, Eddie Root.
Survivors include: son, Dennis Rinear, Twin Falls, Idaho; daughters, Kristin Rinear McCutcheon, Payson and Debi Rinear Morris, Cheyenne, Wyo.; his older brother, Wilbert C. (Jack) Rinear, Porterville, Calif; stepbrother, Jesse Carl Kagley; stepson, Bill Sillyman, Houston, Mo.; stepdaughters Sally Sillyman George, Houston, Mo., Karen Mason Blizzard, North Pole, Alaska, Ann Martin Rush, Bakersfield, Calif., and Lou Graham Blizzard, Taft, Calif.; his longtime girlfriend, Evelyn Coker of Mesa and her children and grandchildren; 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
There are to be no services at this time. A memorial will be held at a later date in California.
