Three Arrested For Selling Marijuana In Convenience Store Parking Lot

Three people were arrested at the South Circle K after police observed them selling marijuana in the convenience store's parking lot.

Jesus Navarrez, 19, of Holbrook was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy for sale of marijuana.

Also arrested were Brian Pryor, 44, of Lakeside on charges of possession of marijuana, marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to sell marijuana. Jeffrey Day, 19, of Holbrook was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana for sale and conspiracy to sell marijuana.

Payson Police Commander Don Engler said residents notified police that there were people selling marijuana in the parking lot.

An employee at the Circle K was handcuffed, but has not been charged, Engler said, adding charges could be filed against him in the future.
