Windsong Burdette Duran, 25, died Nov. 18, 2006 in Phoenix. She was born Sept. 4, 1981 in Payson.
Mrs. Duran enjoyed being around her friends and family. She graduated from Payson High School in 2000 and was active in town league youth sports. At the time of her death, she was attending cosmetology school in Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Burdette Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Rosendo Duran; mother, DeeSha Jackson; brothers Junior Burdette, Boogie Burdette and Paul D. Burdette, all of Payson, and Dominic Nasingotewa of Winslow; sister, Dionne Lewis of Payson; grandmother, Aurelia Thomas of the Gila River Indian Reservation; aunt, Vivian L. Burdette of Payson; and many other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Tonto Apache Gymnasium.
Donations in Mrs. Duran's name may be made to the Tonto Apache Youth Center.
