Monthly Payson Page Will Replace Town Newsletter

After three years of producing the quarterly newsletter The Payson Insight, the Town of Payson recently discontinued publication as a cost saving measure (approximately $20,000 per year).

The Town and the Payson Roundup are now cooperatively producing a monthly page in the Roundup to continue to provide the Roundup's readers with timely information on Town programs and activities. This month marks the inaugural publication of the Town of Payson page.

Fred Carpenter

The Town of Payson is responsible for providing all of the content you see on this page, while the Roundup takes care of the layout.

Each month there will be two feature articles, listings of upcoming Town Council meetings and television programs, and information on how to contact town staff and departments.

Articles will cover a wide variety of topics of interest about the town, from animal control to zoning.

Future editions of this page will help get you ready for winter driving, provide updates on important town issues such as water conservation and planning for the future of our community, and describe new parks and recreation and other town programs.

As with all of our efforts to communicate with the citizens of Payson, we value your feedback. So please take the time to call us with your comments and suggestions. You can reach me directly at 474-5242 ext. 262.

I look forward to hearing from you.
