Editor:

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the Northern Gila County Fair Board and the family of Mary Ellen Randall. I was very honored to receive the Mary Ellen Randall leadership award. The contributions of Ms. Randall and her family to the community have enabled many youth to develop into leadership positions.

As the Gila County 4-H Youth Development Agent, I have the privilege of working with many outstanding volunteer leaders and youth. Together, we strive to instill strong values and provide educational experiences for community youth. The program continues to grow, but not without the support of many individuals. The Randall family, the Northern Gila County Fair Committee, and many others are continuously contributing toward making a difference in the lives of our youth.

The Northern Gila County Fair was very successful this year and I feel honored to be a part of a Rim Country tradition. I wish to extend a very big thank you to the 4-H families, volunteers, Wendell Stevens, the 4-H/FFA livestock auction buyers, and the entire community for their support of the fair and 4-H youth development program.
