The Star Valley Council, in an executive session, will interview a man for the vacant town manager position.

No decision or vote on whether to hire the candidate can be taken in an executive session. The vote must be done in a public hearing.

Mayor Chuck Heron said that the council will interview the man and may decide to ask the Central Association of Governments for assistance in finding new applicants if they are not satisfied with the applicant they are interviewing.

The agenda reads that the board may go into an executive session to interview a candidate for the town manager position as recommended by the League of Arizona Cities and Towns.

The Star Valley Council meeting starts at 7 p.m. at 4180 E. Highway 260.
