Q: Does the Town of Payson have an adequate amount of fluoride in the water to protect our children's teeth?

A: "Generally, yes," said Town of Payson water quality specialist, Karen Probert. "Because our water contains naturally-occurring levels of fluoride that are generally at concentrations that the Environmental Protection Agency considers optimal."

People may wish to check with their dentists to find out if they need supplements for specific medical conditions and they are welcome to call Probert at the water department, (928) 474-5242 ext. 4, for water composition particulars.
