Jessie Smith and Gary Campbell swung their way to top honors at an individual low gross and low net Payson Men's Golf Association Tournament played Oct. 4 at Payson Golf Course.
Smith claimed the top spot in the low gross first flight competition and Campbell emerged top gun in the low net first flight battles.
Trailing Campbell were runner-up Gary Campbell and bronze medalist Doug Talbot.
In the second flight low gross division, Warren Mulcahy was crowned champ.
Popeye Clay flexed his biceps to a win among second flight low net players.
Also in the flight, Lenny Niedens was second and Doug Bailey third.
In the closest to the pin competition, Larry Smith was within 1 foot, 5 inches of an ace on No. 17.
Other prizewinners were Bill Cain (No. 2; 26 feet, 6 inches), Russ Morris (No. 5; 3 feet, 4 inches), John Waring (No. 8; 6 feet, 2 inches) and Dick Harding (no. 14; 8 feet, 8 inches).
