Gary Allen Ogeda, 46, of Payson was airlifted to Scottsdale Osborn Hospital with upper torso injuries after being involved in a fight with two Tempe men, as well as being run over by a vehicle.
Payson Police officers responded to the Oxbow Saloon at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday for a fight in progress in the parking lot.
Payson Police Commander Don Engler said when officers arrived, Ogeda was injured. He said after Ogeda was involved in a fight with Tyler E. Adams, 35, and Douglas Phillip Hale, 23, both of Tempe. The two, who were arrested at a Motel 6 in Payson, left Ogeda on the ground in the parking lot.
Jonathan Michael Runyon, 25, according to police, walked across the street from the saloon, got into a Cadillac and drove back into the Oxbow parking lot where he ran over Ogeda, who was still on the ground.
Runyon, Engler said, then drove southbound on McLane Road and officers found the vehicle parked at the Gateway Mobile Home Park. Police located Runyon at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Hale and Adams were arrested for felony hindering prosecution, and Runyon was arrested for aggravated assault.
