Defendants Don't Need Voice On Bench

Editor:

We all choose our professional paths. If you choose to be a defense attorney, then you actually assist in getting criminals back into society. Barry Standifird has done this for years.

On the other hand, we have a woman who has chosen to work diligently toward justice and peace in our community for years. She has done a wonderful job at it. Her opponents may want her job, but they have not presented convincing arguments that she's failed us in any way.

When it comes to helping, or hindering, violent criminals, drug addicts and thieves, Dorothy Little has chosen to hinder them.

Defense attorneys are a necessary part of our court system. However, it is not reasonable to vote in one as our justice of peace.
