A merger between National Bank of Arizona and Stockmen's Bank was announced Monday. The process should be complete by early 2007.
"At this point, we're not sure what will happen with regard to office locations," said Payson-based National Bank of Arizona Senior Vice President Brent Cannon. Stockmen's Bank, headquartered in Kingman, has 43 offices. National Bank of Arizona is the state's fourth largest bank with 53 offices.
Patrick Willis, manager of the Payson branch of Stockmen's Bank, could not be reached for a comment on the merger. Stockmen's president and chief executive officer Farrel Holyoak will remain with the company, serving as regional president of the National Bank of Arizona.
