Rainy Season Has Many Looking To Cold Winter

Fall is in the air. The rainy season is said to be over and depending on which source you believe, it could be a long, snowy or cold winter. Some say the winter will be severe because the squirrels have extra bushy tails. Others say it will be snowy because of the abundance of spiders and others say so many pine cones falling is a sign.

We shall see.

Fiddler's Jam Session is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, in the Cultural Hall at the Pine Community Center. This is great fun. Don't miss it. Bring your instrument and join the group or just sit back, sing, clap, stomp your feet and enjoy the great music.

Please attend the Fire Board Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Pine Fire Station. The board is going through some tough times and we need to show that we are interested.
