Margery A. (Marni) Stephenson died Sept. 19, 2006 in Payson.
She was born Dec. 25, 1944 in Washington, D.C.
"The Payson community lost a contributing member and beautiful soul," wrote her children.
Mrs. Stephenson was a retired second-grade teacher and enjoyed riding her horses and hiking around Monument Peak.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; three children from a previous marriage, Tommy (Jo Ann) Wildermuth, Lori (Dave) Conroy, and Debbi (Adam) Salcido; and five grandchildren, Macey, Reagan, Andrew, Carlie and Emma.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 27 at All Saints' Episcopal Church. 6300 North Central Avenue, Phoenix.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Stephenson's memory to the Payson Humane Society.
