I've never done this before, but I just wanted to see if I can get an answer to a simple question. If a resident has items in their yard for lawn accent, and someone takes that item, is it the same as stealing?
Over the past year, I have had three items taken. One was a gift from my father when we moved into our new home. It was a cute little dog with our house number. He's gone. Next, a simple statue of a dog just stating "No not here." He left home a couple months ago and then this weekend the matching dog statue also left home.
I know that I'm not the only resident in my Payson development experiencing this same problem, but just wanted to ask why these persons or person feel that it is OK to just take what is obviously not for the taking.
I would greatly appreciate the safe return of these items, but am also aware that may not happen. I'll not tell you where my home is as the person who has removed these items would surely remember that and can just put them back where they found them. I'm also sure the other residents here would also appreciate the return of their property.
