Officers from the Payson Police Department served three search warrants and arrested four people at multiple mobile homes, in a drug raid Friday night at Star Valley Mobile Home Park at 3728 E. Highway 260.

The search warrants were served at the same time to the homes, because of their proximity to each other.

"It took right at 20 officers to get that accomplished Friday night," police commander Don Engler said. "We had to do three entries simultaneously and we needed enough officers to conduct it safely."

Investigations on the three properties began in January, Engler said.

Officers arrested Michael Kennedy, 26, Brittany Slussar, 20, and Christopher Bertone, 29, for possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fifty-year-old Luann Buckpitt was arrested in a neighboring home for possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"The parties of interest complied when we arrived and everything ran smoothly for the officers," Engler said.
