Teams Wanted For 125th Anniversary Golf Tourney

If you have been playing golf for any length of time, your fondest dream might be to shoot a hole-in-one.

You will have an opportunity to realize this dream at the Payson Historical Society's 125th Anniversary Golf Tournament. Scheduled for Oct. 5, the golfer to accomplish this test on hole 5 will be awarded $5,000 cash. The tournament format is a four-person scramble to be played at Payson Golf Course.

Entry fees are $80 for nonmembers and $60 for members of the Payson Golf Course. There will be prizes, food, entertainment and a whole lot of fun for those playing golf with us.

This is a great opportunity to support Payson's Historical Society. The are a few surprises planned on the course to get you into the spirit. Characters are welcomed, so if you want to play golf as Doc Holliday, sign up.
