Randy Perry died Aug. 7, 2007 in Portland, Ore. after an accident. He was born Sept. 4, 1952 in Omaha, Neb. where he grew up and graduated from Pratt School in 1971.
In 1977, he and his former wife, Ellenja Placek moved to Arizona, where they married. In 1980, they moved to Payson where his daughters, Charmaine and Emily were born.
He later moved back to Omaha for a time, and finally settled in Vancouver, Wash. with Lori Harris.
Mr. Perry was a painter for 30 years, and owned painting businesses in both Payson and Omaha. He loved working and spending holidays with his family. He was a good father, always generous with hugs and laughter, and had a great sense of humor. He was always willing to help friends and employees. He leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories.
He is survived by his father Norman; daughters Charmaine, Emily, and Sunny; sons-in-law Justin and Chad; his dearest Lori; his grandchildren Baisia and Aydan; sister Candace; brothers Grant and Hal; and many nieces, nephews and friends. His mother Wilma passed away, three days after him.
He was cremated and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, Neb. A celebration of life will be held in Payson at a later date.
