Worth W. Donahue, died on Aug. 20, 2007. He was born in Nauvoo, Ill. June 21, 1908, to Walter and Kathleen Donahue.

Reared in Fort Madison, Iowa, he moved to Chicago, Ill., where, from 1928-1974, he worked for Chicago Electric Co., selling electric motors.

Two daughters, Gloria Levesque and Carolyn Wall, survive him. Both daughters and their spouses, Richard Levesque and Kevin Wall, live in Payson, where Mr. Donahue spent the last 10 years of his life. He lived with his daughter, Gloria and son-in-law, Richard Levesque and their dog, Sheba, until the winter of 2007, when he went to stay at the Payson Care Center. He continued to enjoy his loving family: four grandchildren, Aaron Bartlett and his wife, Jennifer of San Francisco, Calif., Maria Nelson and T.J. McNabb of Eugene, Ore., Tanya Duarte and her husband, Jose Duarte of Douglas, Ariz. and Eli Sentman of Los Angeles, Calif. and his girlfriend, Rajni Oberoi, of New York City, N.Y.

Also surviving and very dear to him are six great-grandchildren, Kathleen and Joe Zajicek, Makenzie Duarte, Robin Dobson, Aidan Bartlett and soon-to-be-born, Nathan Bartlett. Survivors include nephews, Bob Donahue and his wife Barbara of Cornville, Ariz. and Bill Donahue of Cottonwood, Ariz. and niece Mary Ann Vucich of Phoenix, Ariz.

Mr. Donahue was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also had many good friends and neighbors in Fort Madison, Iowa, where he retired in 1974, and good friends and caregivers at Payson Care Center and RTA Hospice of Payson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Violet in 1949.

Mr. Donahue has a long and wonderful life and a unique sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling around the country and had a special interest in horse racing. He did more than "break even" and ran a good race.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 S. St. Phillips St. Payson, Ariz., with visitation at 9 a.m. at the church.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Payson Care Center, 107 E. Lone Pine, Payson, at 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24.

Burial will be Saturday, Aug. 24 at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz.
