Artist Donates Work To Library Building Fund

Ann Hunter, local artist, sculptor and writer, is sponsoring a raffle of one of her sculptures to benefit the Payson Public Library.

Hunter is donating 100 percent of the proceeds to raise funds for the expansion of the library.

The donated piece of art is an abstract clay sculpture named "Clan," depicting family. This is an original signed piece, valued at $400. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Only 500 tickets will be sold. Buy raffle tickets at Elder's Creations, 107 W. Wade, #1 in Wade Plaza or at the Payson Public Library.

The drawing for a winner will be held on Monday, Oct. 1, with the winner being notified immediately after the drawing. See the sculpture on display at the Payson Public Library.
