Educating The Public About Healthy Alternatives

Payson has a new source for vitamins, supplements and organic foods -- Vita-Mart is in the Twin Pines Shopping Center.

B.J. and Christine Bollier opened the store (right next to The Small Café) in late September. Both are familiar faces to many in the community. B.J. has been in Payson for 22 and Christine has been here for 16 years.

"We have the technology to find what you need and give you a better shopping experience. We are constantly searching for and bringing in new products. We are always open to recommendations, too. We always give our customers amazing service that they cannot get anywhere else," the Bolliers said.

Both have a passion for natural remedies and finding a better way to feel better.

Christine has several years of experience in the natural health industry and has studied nutritional science and went to college to be a paramedic.

B.J.'s college education is in business management and computer science. His training has made it possible to integrate the latest technology into the business. Not only does the technology help the Bolliers find the customers what they need, it makes it possible to educate their clients about the products.

The list of products available at Vita-Mart is expansive. Among the offerings: natural vitamins, supplements and specialty foods. Some of the brands carried are: Gaia Herbs (doubly organically certified), Nature's Plus, Now Foods, Solaray and Kal. The shop also has gluten-free foods, organic fair trade coffee, jams from a Mennonite community in Maryland, cooking oils and vinegars, energy drinks, healthy snacks and raw honeys.

The couple said they truly love Payson and what they do. Vita-Mart is a dream come true for both of them.
