Bake, craft, yard sale

The Rim Valley Church of God, 208 S. McLane, will sponsor a combined fund-raiser from 8:30 a.m. to about 5 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 15. There will be a bake sale, craft sale, and yard sale on those two days. Some of the items for sale are a gas heater, small organ, pop and candy machines. Rented tables are available for $10 for both days, for those that would like to show and sell their own wares. For a reservation, please call (928) 474-5449.

Payson's Aglow International plans party

Payson's Aglow International group invites the public to a 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15 Christmas Party at the Fellowship Hall of Crossroads Church, 114 E. Cedar Lane, Payson.

This will be a cookie and goodie exchange, so those attending should bring two dozen of their favorite home-baked cookies or Christmas goodies, and the recipe, to exchange. Native American Appreciation Day

The public is invited to Native American Appreciation Day at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at The Potter's House Church, 616 S. Beeline Highway. At 10:30 a.m. will be "Healing Leaves"; 11:45 a.m. Friendship lunch with Indian fry bread and Navajo Tacos; 6:30 p.m. True Life testimonies of Delbert and Arlinda John, with special music by Lynn Green. New Life Foundation seminar is Sunday

The New Life Foundation is having a seminar, "Secrets the Whole World Should Hear" from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 16.

Spirit of Christmas has two performances

The Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship would like to invite the public to "The Spirit of Christmas" concert, at Payson High School, 514 W. Wade Lane, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16.

This production is put on by talent from our local churches, who come together in a professional manner, to give you an awesome combination of acting, singing and musical performance. Suited for the entire family, admission is free.

Churches join together

Rim Christian Church of Mesa Del Caballo has joined with Central Christian Church of Payson to form one congregation of like-minded believers. The congregation is presently meeting every Sunday in the Seventh Day Adventist Worship Center located at St. Philips and Wade Lane. Sunday Bible school is at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m. Gene Mills serves as interim minister.

Crossroads launches new women's ministry

Crossroads Foursquare Church launched its new women's ministry, "Crossroads Women's Connection" with a gala Christmas party. The party featured tables set with individual table settings provided by nine of the women. Entertainment included Christmas carols, poetry, and a special musical presentation by Howard and Colleen Brown.

Church of the Holy Nativity holiday services

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses will be held at the Church of the Holy Nativity. Come celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at The Church of the Holy Nativity. Christmas Eve High Mass will be at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 24 with carol singing before the service. Christmas Day, Dec. 25, Low Mass will be at 10 a.m. Come celebrate in a traditional and historic faith in the Anglo-Catholic Rite. Make Christmas again what it is meant to be -- "Jesus is the reason for the Season." The Church is located at 1414 North Easy Street at the corner of North Easy Street and Bradley in Alpine Heights. Candlelight service

Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, 507 W. Wade Lane, will hold a very special Christmas Eve Candlelight Service with choral music at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 24. The theme is "Crossing the Christmas Border." Our Christmas Day Worship with Holy Communion will begin at 9 a.m. on Christmas morning. The Christmas Day theme is "An Inconvenient Christmas." Gingerbread House decorating party

The second annual Gingerbread House decorating party is a fun, casual event for all ages. Participants decorate full-sized gingerbread houses. Tickets are just $10 per house.
