Royce and Tammy Brubacher have opened a new tree service for the Rim Country, Skyline Tree Service.
The business can provide Fire Wise consultation for residential and business properties, hazardous tree removal, general tree trimming, mistletoe removal, dead wood removal and technical falling. The Brubachers will also do land clearing and trim around secondary power and phone lines.
"This is a veteran-owned company," Brubacher said.
"I'm a small-town guy who still believes in small-town values. I have taken classes to better understand how to protect our homes and make them and our communities Fire Wise. I also have a red card allowing me to fight wildfires," he said.
Brubacher has a diverse background; he has worked as a truck driver, a potato farmer and a plumber.
"I enjoy working outdoors as an arborist the best," he said.
He served in the Army from 1999 to 2004, spending a year in Iraq as a truck driver.
Brubacher moved to Payson in 2004 from Colorado and met his wife, Tammy Felten, here. They married in 2006 and have four children, Kolby, Kody, Blake and Bailey.
Skyline Tree Service is a member of the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce.
