Daniel Conley, 14, has won several different state championships in both mountain biking and road racing this year.
He earned honors in the Mountain Biking Association of Arizona's five-race series:
- Criterium road race;
- Hill Climb road race;
- Road Championship; and
- Flagstaff Summit Center Classic stage road race.
- He also won a platinum medal for riding under six hours in the 109-mile El Tour De Tucson event.
The Conley family traveled to Vermont for the Mountain Bike Nationals in which Daniel won a bronze medal.
