February, the second month of the year, is kind of like a small child going through that stage known as the terrible 2s. February can be so beguiling. It charms the birds into singing spring songs one day, and the next it throws a temper tantrum complete with blizzard conditions that have us pulling out our winter coats and boots again.
Right in the middle of the month there's Valentine's Day, which, perhaps, is why February is also Creative Romance Month. Let me know if you have any favorite Valentine's Day memories and I'll share them with readers in the next "Senior Moments" column.

If at first you don't succeed, you still have two choices: Try again or, better yet, read the instructions.
