Grover Cleveland Moncrief, 94, died Feb. 5, 2007 at the Payson Care Center.
He was born Dec. 8, 1912 in Clinton, Ark.
Mr. Moncrief retired to Payson 31 years ago and was known as "Cleve" to his buddies at Salt River Project where he worked for 33 years, driving an 18-wheeler.
He was the longest standing member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW Local #266.
Mr. Moncrief is survived by Effie Jenkins and son-in-law John, and Betty Callahan. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Daisy, his wife of 67 years.
A graveside memorial will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 10 at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park, located south of Payson in Round Valley.
