I wanted to thank all the people who came to welcome the Hashknife Pony Express Riders to Payson. They gave me an experience that I won't soon forget. From the music of D.J. Craig and the people pouring coffee and handing out cookies, to the kids singing and the people dancing, the experience was one of small town America.
There were people of all ethnicities there. We welcomed to Payson some men who had a cold, wet struggle and gave them warmth. Ride on, Pony Express Riders. You make us so proud to live in Payson, where we can see history.
