Payson Man In Iraq

Specialist Colt Thomas Connolly is currently deployed to Iraq, a post he has been assigned since October 2006. He is a 2003 graduate of Payson High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in August 2003.

Since May 2004, he has been stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Connolly is an Airborne Combat Medic with the 1-501 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat team, 25th Infantry Division.

He is the son of Thomas and Shirlene Connolly of Payson.

Connolly and his unit, as well as his family, wish to thank all those who have sent numerous supplies to them, as they are in an area that has no stores in which they can purchase any supplies or personal items. Special, sincere gratitude and appreciation is offered to the Mazatzal Casino and their employees, Adesa Auto Auction in Chandler and its employees, Payson Supply Line, Nancy of Phil White Ford, Deneice, previously of Phil White Ford, and, of course, many relatives and friends. These items were greatly appreciated by Colt and his entire unit.
