Isaac (Ike) J. Risenhoover, 68, died Feb. 21, 2007 in Payson.
He was born March 29, 1938 in Quinton, Okla.
Mr. Risenhoover served for 10 years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Casa Grande. He was also a member of the Elks Club, the American Legion and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired as director of maintenance at Casa Grande Union High School in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; three sons, Eddie, David and Toby; four daughters, Deborah, Diana, Jonell and Sommar; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He had one very special little friend, Dailyn.
He is also survived by two brothers, Ervin of Tucson and Dewayne of Williams; four sisters, Ruth Ferguson of Biloxi, Miss., Radah Bray of Whitefield, Okla., Martha McFerrin of Gillette, Wyo. and Patricia Reed of Bakersfield, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katie Risenhoover; and two sisters, Nellie Herring and Lillie Price.
Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Messinger Mortuary in Payson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon and the service will be at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
