Those in attendance from Gila County were president of the Gila County Cattle Growers John Fowler, David and Diana Cook, John Griffin and James Rasmussen.

The winter meeting is held to update producers on current and future state legislation that will be upcoming during the year.

The legislative dinner, held at the Scottsdale Polo Club, provides the opportunity for producers and members to visit and share their concerns about ranching and rural Arizona issues with state representatives. Much of this year's debate was over water rights, open space and maintaining viable operations for the future.
