Secret To Wrinkle-Free Skin Right In Your Kitchen

It's a new year and it's really cold, but the good thing is: It finally snowed. I would say about a foot of snow fell over the New Year holiday.

Luis Borbon and his family spent New Year's here. His daughters, 18-month-old Grace and 9-year-old Michelle, got to go sledding over their stay, and make several snowmen.

The New Year rolled in quietly. Now, it's time to get into shape. So, here it goes. This is what I learned:

According to the Web Doctor you can pay more than $100 an ounce for a wrinkle cream that promises to erase the years from your face, but spending a few dollars on a good sunscreen is probably a better investment.

According to Consumer Reports investigators, they found no correlation between price and effectiveness in the wrinkle creams they tested. One of the cheapest -- Olay Regenerist -- performed slightly better than the rest, but none produced dramatic results. At $57 for cream, lotion or serum, Olay Regenerist was the top-performing product, followed by Lancôme Paris Renergie, at $176, and RoC Retin-ox, at $135. One of the worst performing products, La Prairie Cellular, was also one of the most expensive, at $335 for an ounce of day cream and 1.7 ounces of night cream. Wow.

Forget the expensive products, some experts say the secret to wrinkle-free skin is right in your kitchen.

For great skin, say "hello" to blueberries, strawberries, cranberries and raspberries. All of them are loaded with antioxidants, which save skin cells from premature aging. After all, ladies, you know what they say, "We are what we eat." The problem is those berries just don't fill you up like a good bag of potato chips.

I did not hear from any of you ladies out there with advice, so I figure we have some really beautiful women who are really in shape and they don't want to share their secrets, or we have a lot of women who just don't know what the secrets are.

Either way, I hope some of this helps. It seems to boil down to a few things that have been around for years.

We need to watch what we eat, and get out and exercise. I guess we can start by taking down the Christmas decorations or maybe take a walk.

Or just click open a can of Pepsi and open a bag of chips.
