Wanda Ellis of Payson died Jan. 2, 2007. She was 70.
She was born Nov. 11, 1936 in Sulphur, Okla. She moved to Scottsdale at the age of 11.
A homemaker, she was married to Pete Ellis for 52 years, and lived in Payson for 42 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, C.L. Taylor and Elva Taylor, and her brother, L.B. "Wahoo" Chapman.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Ellis, her daughter Della (David) Bradley of Payson; son Jimmy (Erin) Ellis of Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandchildren, Lacey and Stoney of Cade, Ky.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at the Payson Pioneer Cemetery at the corner of Country Club and Vista.
