Macky's won Best Burger in 2006.

You can also vote for the best places to fish, hike and meet singles. This year there is a new choice: Best Nonprofit Organization.

By casting your ballot, you help to honor the people and places that, during the course of 2006, had a positive impact on life in the Rim Country.

There are a few rules to follow: The only acceptable ballots will be those printed in the paper, no photocopies or other reproductions will qualify; ballots must be at least 50 percent complete and only two ballots per household will be accepted; ballots should not be distributed by businesses or friends to solicit votes; all ballots must contain local, verifiable name and address information.

Write clearly and return completed ballots to the Payson Roundup by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23. The ballots may be brought to the office at 708 N. Beeline Highway or mailed to P.O. Box 2520, Payson, AZ 85547.

Results will be published in February.
