New Bible studies for women begin at Mountain Bible

Mountain Bible Church is starting a new semester of Bible studies for women.

MOM Time begins at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan 12 on "Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds" -- a Beth Moore Study. Child care is available in the church's Building C.

Beginning Tuesday Jan 16, the at-home study evening class will be on Book three of "Sermon on the Mount" -- A Purpose Driven Study.

For child care, children must be registered for Thursday studies, for more information call Brenda at (928) 472-7241.

Good News Club meets after school

Once a week, right after school, at school, the Good News Club meets for Bible study, missionary story, verse explanation, and game.

There is no cost to attend.

Teachers Ed and Jan Miller invite students to attend. Call 468-1240.

Schedule is as follows:

Frontier Elementary, Room 102, Mondays from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Julia Randall Elementary, Room 401, Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Pine Strawberry Elementary, Room 119, Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Payson Elementary, Resource Room, Fridays from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.

Seven Areas of Life Training class offered

Calvary Chapel Payson will be offering our first 8-week session of S.A.L.T. (Seven Areas of Life Training.) The first area is "Spiritual."

It will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., led by Finley and Carolyn Pritchett. For more information, call (928) 468-1554.
