Perk Renick, 77, of Jake's Corner, died Jan. 14, 2007 in Phoenix.

He was born in Love County, Okla. on Oct. 8, 1929, to Andrew Jackson Renick and Arzella Renick (Harris).

Mr. Renick moved to Yuma in 1942 and lived at Jake's Corner for the last 34 years.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator and retired from Operating Engineers.

He was always recognized for his big blue eyes and consuming smile.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Renick; daughters, Billie Moore, Diana Fitz, Shelly Thompson, Janice Humphries and Dana Burch; sons, Terry Jackson and Mark Burch; and sister, Joyce Morris.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero.

He will be interred in Tonto Basin Cemetery.
