Recycling For School

Kindergartners Curtis Potvin and Eve Armstrong are members of Frontier Elementary School's student body who brought plastic grocery bags to school.

FES collected 117 60-gallon bags full of bags as of Jan. 16 and turned them into $585 in cash for the school.

They started the school year with a goal of 125 bags to bring to Wal-Mart, the company sponsoring the program.

Cell phones and empty ink and laser printer cartridges are also wanted for recycling. For more information, call (928) 472-2052.
